Xbox Game Pass adds 13 games in October 2026, and the headline title is Battlefield 6, which joins on October 13 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The list below follows Pure Xbox's October rundown, last updated October 8, with details from Windows Report's Wave 1 article. Dates, platforms and tiers can change, so confirm anything you plan around in the Xbox app before you rely on it.
Quick answer: Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members get the biggest slice of the October lineup. Pure Xbox lists Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis for October 13, Bluey's Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts for October 15, and Beyond These Stars for October 16, with Gears of War: E-Day already added on October 6. Keeper (October 2) is listed for Premium, and Neon Abyss 2 (October 8) is listed for Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Premium. A second batch of exits is expected around mid-month, so check the leaving list before you start a long game.
Already Added Earlier in October
Keeper arrived on October 2 on Series X|S, PC and cloud, and Pure Xbox lists it for the Premium tier. Gears of War: E-Day followed on October 6 on Series X|S, PC and cloud for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Wave 1 landed on October 8 with three games. Echo Weaver is a day-one time-loop metroidvania, Forever Ago is a day-one road trip adventure, and Neon Abyss 2 is a roguelike action platformer. Echo Weaver and Neon Abyss 2 are listed for Series X|S, PC and cloud, while Forever Ago also supports other consoles. Neon Abyss 2 is the only one of the three listed for Premium as well as Ultimate and PC.
October 13 to October 16
Battlefield 6 arrives on October 13 on Series X|S, PC and cloud, listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The same day brings two day-one games: Deep Dish Dungeon, a survival exploration game with online co-op, and Valor Mortis, a first-person soulslike that Windows Report also lists for handheld play.
On October 15 come Bluey's Happy Snaps, a family adventure, and Chained Beasts, a co-op gladiator roguelike for one to four players. Beyond These Stars, a city-building game, follows on October 16 and is PC only.
Late October
Two more games are on the list for the end of the month: The Seance of Blake Manor on October 27 and Terrible Lizards on October 29. Both are listed for Series X|S, PC and cloud on Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
What to Check Before You Play
- Match the tier. Pure Xbox lists most October games for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Keeper is listed for Premium only, and Neon Abyss 2 for Premium as well.
- Check your platform. Beyond These Stars is PC only, and some titles support handheld play while others do not.
- PC players should check requirements. Battlefield 6 lists TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot among its PC requirements. Our Battlefield 6 PC requirements and Secure Boot guide walks through the checks.
- Watch the exit list. Pure Xbox says another batch of departures is expected around mid-October. Look for titles you have not finished.
Bottom Line
If you pay for Ultimate or PC Game Pass, October is a strong month because the biggest releases are day-one or near-day-one additions. If you are on a cheaper tier, check each game's listing, because several are not available there.
