Best 1080p High-Refresh Monitor Deals

  • MSI Pro MP243L (24-inch, 144 Hz): $89.99, down from $109.99.
  • MSI MAG 255XFV (25-inch, 250 Hz): $99, down from $149.99.
  • Acer Nitro KG273 (27-inch, 240 Hz): $139.99, down from $199.99.

At this price, the MAG 255XFV is the standout for competitive shooters who want a very high refresh rate on a small budget.

Best 1440p Gaming Monitor Deals

  • ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27QRT1B (27-inch, 180 Hz): $127.99, at Newegg.
  • Acer Nitro 27-inch (1440p, 200 Hz): about $135-$140, depending on the model and retailer.
  • LG UltraGear 27GS60QC-B (1440p, 180 Hz): $149.99, down from $249.99.
  • LG UltraGear G6 (27-inch, 300 Hz): $229.99, down from $399.99.

For most people, a 27-inch 1440p panel is the best balance of sharpness and frame rate. The LG UltraGear G6 is the one to pick if you play fast shooters and want a 300 Hz ceiling. If your budget is tight, the ASRock at $127.99 is a very low price for 1440p, even though the brand is less familiar.

Best 4K and OLED Monitor Deals

  • MSI MAG 275UPD (27-inch, 4K, dual-mode): $249.99, down from $309.99.
  • AOC Q27GADE (27-inch, 1440p, 144 Hz OLED): $279.99, down from $329.99.
  • AOC 27-inch QD-OLED (1440p, 240 Hz): about $299.99, down from $499.99.

OLED panels are known for deep blacks and very fast response, and these prices are low for the technology. The 240 Hz AOC QD-OLED is the one to watch: both PC Gamer and Tom's Hardware list it at the same price.

What About the ASUS TUF VG27AQ?

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ (27-inch, 1440p, 165 Hz IPS) has been a default recommendation in this category for years. It was not on the lists we checked this week, so look at its current listing before comparing it with the models above. Our full review covers where its IPS trade-offs show up.

Which Graphics Card Pairs With Which Monitor

A monitor can only show the frames your GPU produces. A 1440p panel at 165 Hz and above fits mid-range cards such as the RTX 4070 and RX 7800 XT, and our RTX 4070 vs RX 7800 XT comparison helps if you are still choosing the GPU. A 4K or very high refresh panel asks more of the card, so check your target frame rate before you spend. Our GPU deals page tracks current card prices.

Bottom Line

For most buyers, a 1440p panel between $128 and $230 gives the best value this week, and the AOC QD-OLED at about $300 is the best upgrade if you can afford it. If the price in your cart is higher than listed here, wait a few days, since monitor prices tend to swing by $20-$30 around sales.
