Prime Big Deal Days

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6-7, 2026, starting at 12:01 a.m. PDT on the 6th and lasting 48 hours. Most of the discounts are limited to Prime members, and a 30-day free trial is available if you aren't one yet. The sale is a warm-up for Black Friday, so the useful question isn't "is it on sale?" but "is this a price I'd be happy to pay in November too?"

GameRath may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page. Prices below were listed on October 5-6 and Amazon, Newegg and Walmart change them all day, so check the cart before you commit. Several deals are at other retailers, and we say so where that's the case.

Gaming Monitors: The Strongest Category

Monitors have the deepest cuts of the event, especially at 1440p and OLED.

  • LG UltraGear G6 27-inch, 1440p, 300 Hz is listed at $229.99, down from $399.99. For a fast-paced shooter player, that's the best value of the 1440p set.
  • AOC 27-inch QD-OLED, 1440p, 240 Hz is about $299.99, down from $499.99. Both PC Gamer and Tom's Hardware list the same price, which is a good sign it isn't a one-off.
  • ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27QRT1B, 27-inch, 1440p, 180 Hz is $127.99 at Newegg. It's an unfamiliar brand, but that's a very low entry price for 1440p.
  • Acer Nitro 27-inch, 1440p, 200 Hz sits around $135-$140 depending on the model and retailer.
  • MSI MAG 255XFV, 25-inch, 250 Hz is $99 at Walmart, a solid pick for competitive 1080p play on a budget.

If you only buy one thing this week, make it a monitor. Our gaming monitor deals page tracks the models we'd pick outside the sale too.

Gaming Mice

Wireless gaming mice under $70 are the story here.

  • Logitech G305 Lightspeed (wireless): $29.99, down from $49.99.
  • Logitech G502 Hero (wired): $37.99, down from $69.99.
  • Glorious Model O Eternal (wired): $29.99, down from $39.99.
  • Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed (wireless): $69.99, down from $99.99.
  • Corsair Sabre V2 Pro (wireless): $69.99, down from $99.99.

The G305 and the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed are the easy recommendations for most players. See our best gaming mouse deals for how they compare against the rest of the market.

SSDs and Storage

These 1TB NVMe drives had the clearest discounts in the sources we checked.

  • WD Blue SN5000 1TB NVMe: $168.70, down from $249 on Amazon.
  • Kingston NV3 1TB: $156.99, down from $215.99.
  • Biwin Black Opal NV7400 1TB: $174.99.

Drives like these are fine for game libraries and general use. If you're deciding between formats, our best SSD deals roundup covers the trade-offs.

Headsets

  • HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless: about $109, down from $199.99 on Amazon.
  • Razer BlackShark V3: $103.99 with an on-page coupon, down from $149.99.
  • SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro (PC and Xbox): $249.99, down from $379.99.

The Cloud Alpha Wireless has the biggest percentage discount of the three. Check the coupon box on the BlackShark V3 page before you check out, or it won't apply.

GPUs, CPUs and Parts

PC components are discounted less aggressively than monitors, so be selective.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: $348, down from $449. For a gaming-focused build, this is the standout CPU deal.
  • PNY RTX 5060 Ti 8GB: $389 at Walmart, down from $499.99.
  • ASRock Arc B580 12GB: $329.99 at Newegg, down from $349.99.
  • Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti: $1,149.99 with a promo code, down from $1,249.99.

The 8GB RTX 5060 Ti is the one to think about carefully. A $110 discount is real, but 8GB of VRAM is tight for newer games at high settings. If you can stretch your budget, look at 12GB or 16GB cards. Our GPU deals and CPU deals pages are updated as prices change.

What to Skip

  • Tiny discounts on big-ticket items. A $5 drop on a graphics card isn't a sale, it's rounding.
  • Unknown-brand gaming PCs with older CPUs. A cheap prebuilt can look attractive until you check which parts it uses.
  • Anything that only looks cheap because the "was" price is inflated. If the sale price is within a few dollars of what it cost last month, wait for Black Friday.

How to Shop the Sale

Prime Big Deal Days ends at the close of October 7. Deals refresh through the event, and some run out of stock, so decide on your budget first and add the one or two items you actually need to your cart now. Most of the biggest gaming discounts of the year still tend to arrive in the Black Friday window, so this sale is best for things you need now, like a monitor or a replacement mouse.

Not sure a discount is real? Our Best Gaming Deals hub rounds up GPUs, peripherals and free games and shows how to spot a real deal.
